# Whether a month has already been declared to Swissdec

**GET /api-v1/payroll/declared/{calendarYear}/{monthType}**

When true the month's payrolls are frozen: no insert, update or delete. Used by the Generate Salaries popup to disable GENERATE before the user submits; PayrollService enforces the same rule on every mutating call.
